Welcome to my website. If you ask me who I am and what I’m up to all day, I would probably show you some of my tapestries. They kind of sum things up pretty well; my relation to textile art as a genre, my esthetic preferences, the idea of developing craftsmanship, my attitudes towards cultural heritage and hopefully the joy of spending time at the loom. I would also tell you about traveling to exhibitions around the world, and about life in an old wooden house in a small Swedish village, with a free grown garden and some cats. The world is big and small at the same time, and isn’t it amazing how digital technique makes almost everything possible? I even use it in my art nowadays. Tapestry weaving is a very old technique, and I find it really interesting and challenging to experiment with its limits, scale and potential to tell stories.
